Brands: Want to be heard on Facebook? Wait three hours

Facebook prides itself on one simple mission: To make the world more open and connected. Allowing businesses to join in the groundswell conversation with brand pages was a marketer’s dream come true. Opportunities to increase traffic and sales, build loyalty and amplify word of mouth got marketers establishing pages and posting. As they started talking, consumers started talking back and online communities were born.

But how much brand talking is too much? At what point do consumers tune out?
